I will be going to your talk at the Vancouver Public Library on March 12. My friends Mom died in Jan. of a recurrent breast cancer. She had been living in Cherryville when Agent Orange was used by BC Hydro to stop growth under the power lines. She had been a line painter for the Highways between Vernon and Cherryville. Her cancer came back at the 5 year mark and she died so quickly , like in 2 months. I really want to know what the connection is . Thank goodness for someone like you who is asking these questions. Leslie Mackie
Looking forward to meeting you, Leslie. I can’t say I have the answers yet, but over the next couple of years, I hope to get more information and write about it. It helps a little bit to know the root of these tragic deaths.
